How do I set up email in Outlook 2016

When in outlook choose to add a new account. If it is a fresh install of Outlook it will prompt to setup when you open. Otherwise choose 'Tools' and then 'Accounts'
Enter your email address then click connect
It will then lookup your email address and take you to the advanced setup. Choose IMAP
On the IMAP account Settings enter in the incoming and outgoing mail server.
- The server will be "mail.<your domain>" i.e. mail.example.com.au
- Set the encryption method to "Auto"
Click next. Enter your current email password. We are not able to tell you are current password only reset it to a new one as needed.
Then choose Connect to finalise setting up your email. Allow time for outlook to connect and update your inbox. There should also be a test email in your inbox to confirm that the setup was successful.

It will then lookup your email address and take you to the advanced setup. Choose IMAP
On the IMAP account Settings enter your details.
- Emails address and username is your full email address i.e. name@example.com.au
- The server incoming and outgoing server will be "mail.<your domain>" i.e. mail.example.com.au
- Leave encryptions and ports as default.
Then choose Connect to finalise setting up your email. Allow time for outlook to connect and update your inbox.
